Our retreat was proof of how much this can make a difference. 🚀 Just got back from our Company Retreat in Madeira, and we couldn’t feel more excited and enthusiastic about the experience and, most importantly, about our future goals! 🌍 Every year, Algor takes its tight-knit team on an adventure to discover amazing destination, find unique and modern ways to feel inspired and come up with innovative ideas. This time, we had the opportunity to explore the breath-taking scenery of Madeira. 🤝 At Algor, we strongly believe that our true strength lies in the people who make up our team, and we are committed to creating shared memories and great opportunities to strengthen bonds, share visions and align goals. 🌅🐬🌴 Our eight days in Madeira were filled with stunning landscapes and unique experiences we faced together. As In4Art, we collaborate and sponsor Natan Sinigaglia in his AIR STARTS residency within the project SYMBODY. In this project, we are developing a what we call "qualitative body movement detection framework" which should be capable of identifying and understanding multiple layers of significance of gestures. We are finishing the first phase of discovery and Natan is starting to experiment with the underlying meanings inherent in human movement and sound. After my workshop on Artificial Intelligence in research, preparing an innovation in business education workshop, and launching a new startup in the MedTech industry, it was time to diversify 🔄. So, I attended a Festival of Science and Fantasy in the Slovak city of Prešov, where I led a presentation/discussion on the legacy and philosophy of Star Trek: The Original Series 🚀🌌. The experience was wonderful; I met many interesting people from this vibrant community of enthusiasts ❤️🤝. Discussing Star Trek was both refreshing and eye-opening 🤯💡. This groundbreaking series utilized a futuristic and analogical approach to overcome societal barriers and tackle hard topics head-on. Many of its themes remain relevant today 🌍🔮.
