The journey towards LGBTQ+ justice, equality, and inclusion, has never been easy. We’ve faced countless challenges, naysayers, and setbacks. But, with the support of our allies, we’ve persevered. Over the last two decades, we’ve achieved what once seemed impossible: workplace protections, marriage equality, greater representation across every major platform, and a shift in hearts and minds towards greater acceptance and inclusion of our community. McKinstry supports six employee resource groups, called Alliances, that uplift women, people of color, the LGBTQ+ community and Veterans at McKinstry. When your personal values are aligned with those of your employer. It’s a match. Im happy that here in DHL Supply Chain we are clear about our approach towards LGBTQ+ communities. We promote the topics. We educate ourselves to be able to be inclusive, to make this company a better place for all of us. And to be able to provide our support. Empathy and respect are not a measurable KPI (although I am sure there are links to be measured), but they are key in shaping the culture.
