I switched one of my client's accounts to bid caps. Here's what happened after 73 days: Total sales increased by 351.70% Ad spend increased by 64.93% ROAS increased by 1209.68% What did I do? I firstly turned off all traffic ads - they were leaching all of the ad spend with nearly minimal sales. I then created a broad CBO featuring one ad set with the best-performing creatives. I then worked out WHY they were winning and made a separate 3 ad sets with different variations of the winners I set the bid at +20% of my average target CPA. I was then able to have the daily budget at 20x Target CPA This allowed the campaign to fluctuate on a daily basis - notably Sunday having the most sales/spend Bid Caps allowed us to avoiding bad spend, even to some ad sets not getting any daily spend. For at the start of April we had a very low spend day I have able to heavily reduce marketing spend, minimised volatility and severely increased how many sales we're getting by optimising correctly with Bid Caps If the client was to stay with the Traffic and Lowest cost ads they would still be seeing massive leakages

Is your ROAS target properly aligned with your advertising budget? Let's consider a practical example: -> Investing $50,000 per month with a ROAS of 3 generates $150,000 in revenue, resulting in a $30,000 profit (20%). -> On the other hand, investing $200,000 per month with a ROAS of 2.5 produces $500,000 in revenue, leading to a $50,000 profit (10%). Even with a lower ROAS and narrower profit margins, you still achieve: ✅ Higher total revenue. ✅ Greater customer acquisition. Don't forget to match your ROAS goals with your ad spend!

Don't use ACOS to measure profits Use metrics that tell you the full picture I have seen many sellers making this mistake, and tracking their profits with ACOS. This metric only tells you the performance of your advertising campaigns. So how do you track it? We have more things than just ad sales. You need to see total sales to know the real cost of advertising, and there is only one metric that combines both and it's TACOS. Knowing TACOS is essential to track the performance of your account. This could sound pretty basic, but I have seen many clients that don't track TACOS, and it's ok, we are here to learn every day. You can change TACOS = AD SPEND / TOTAL SALES to another formula with more variables involved, so you know where to improve your account, but it's for another post. How do you calculate your TACOS? For one of the clients I did these 5 things to go from 2k spend to 7k daily spend for one of the Ecom clients in just a month since taking over > while increasing their ROAS from 1.6 to 2.4 Check these 5 simple but efficient steps you can replicate for your store: 1. Fixing all the gaps & better decision-making I started doing proper optimization Both on the ad set and ad level, verifying the date with a 3rd party tracking software I also identified early indicators KPIs based on the historical data so we can minimize the losers earlier 2. Restructuring the ad account I gradually implemented my structure Started relying mostly on broad and winning interest stack Also, ASC played a massive role, both in % of the overall budget and the performance Introduced DPA campaign for rtg based on the GA time-lag data 3. Ads I found 8 winning ads from the past 6 months and started running them on prospecting while using post ID That enabled us to lower CPC drastically as social proof was carried in all the ads no matter in what ad sets they were running I also did a deep dive that resulted: 4. New angle ideas The messaging was pretty vague before Once started using words in ads our customers are using when explaining the product Prospects started to resonate with our ads even more We even incorporated that into their website 5.
