Who is busy making fertility-related New Year's resolutions that will hopefully make 2025 The Year? I bet a lot of you are, so here's a helpful reminder that "I will have a baby," isn't a very good resolution for the simple reason that you don't actually have complete control over whether you get pregnant. (Sorry to harsh your New Year's buzz. And also sorry I just used that cringy phrase! Ha!) Instead, I am suggesting to my clients that they focus on these 5 areas: ❤️Self-Compassion ❤️Self-Care ❤️Self-Advocacy ❤️Breathing ❤️Journaling If you'd like to read more about why these are my suggestions, here is the link to my full blog post: https://lnkd.in/eTN9RSDZ #newyearsgoals #newyearsresolutions #fertility

Age is merely a number, as fertility doesn't have an expiration date. Many women are now choosing to start their journey into motherhood at the age of 35 or even later. It's essential to remember that each woman's body is unique and may have different reproductive timelines. Embracing motherhood is a personal decision that should be made when you feel mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared. Whether it's through natural conception, assisted reproductive technologies, or adoption, the path to motherhood is diverse and individualized. Understanding your fertility window and seeking guidance from healthcare professionals can help you make informed choices about when to start a family. It's never too late to explore your options and take steps towards fulfilling your dreams of parenthood. https://buff.ly/3OYG7bN #FertilityJourney #MotherhoodGoals #FamilyPlanningMatters #ConceivingAtAnyAge #ParenthoodDreams #EmpoweredChoices #ReproductiveHealth #ModernMotherhood #WomenSupportingWomen #FutureFamilyPlanning

When someone asks, “So, when are you having kids?” it can feel like a punch to the gut. But you don’t owe anyone your story. You get to choose what, when, and with whom you share. 💯 Here are a few additional tips that can help you deal with this difficult question: 🔸Keep it simple: ‘Thanks for asking, we’ll share when we have news.’ 🔸Set boundaries: ‘That’s something I’d rather not talk about today.’ 🔸Redirect: ‘What about you? What’s new with your family?’ Remember, family or not, you don’t owe anyone an explanation, and it’s okay to excuse yourself if conversations feel too heavy. We're thinking of you this holiday season. 🧡 Share this to help spread the message. #infertility #ttc #infertilitysupport #infertilityjourney #infertilitycommunity #fertilitystruggles #infertilitystruggles #ttcjourney #ttccommunity #ttclife

As a growing number of women struggle with fertility or choose not to have children, living a fulfilling life without kids is becoming an increasingly popular topic of conversation. On TikTok, videos with the hashtag "childfree" have been viewed 1.8 billion times. So, what's sparked this discussion with our favourite co-star from 'Friends'? Recently, comments made by Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance in 2020 have resurfaced. He referred to prominent political opponents as "childless cat ladies who are miserable with their lives and the choices they've made, so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too." His comments have prompted an immediate response from women around the world, including celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midler and Jennifer Aniston, Chelsea Handler and Kesha. Jennifer Aniston, who has openly shared her fertility struggles, responded on Instagram: "Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option, because you are trying to take that away from her too." Vance later clarified that his comments were not meant to "criticize people who, for various reasons, didn't have kids," but were instead directed at the Democratic Party for "becoming anti-family and anti-child." Curious about the statistics on this growing trend, we looked into it for you. In the United States, from 2015 to 2019, 56.7% of women and 44.8% of men aged 15–49 had ever had a biological child. Choosing to be childfree, dealing with infertility, or facing economic challenges are all valid experiences deserving of compassion rather than judgment. No one teaches us about timing when it comes to our bodies. We think we have all the time in the world… until we don’t. More and more women are bravely sharing their struggles with infertility, often saying they wish they knew more when they were younger. They wonder why doctors never mentioned options like egg freezing or trying for a baby sooner, before it’s too late. I’ve been a strong advocate for egg freezing ever since I froze my own eggs in my 20s - not due to a medical condition, but to give myself choice and options for the future. I didn’t want to miss my fertility window. When I speak to women about my journey and their experiences, they often say they wish they had frozen their eggs earlier, when they had more eggs and better-quality ones. More needs to be done to provide women with the information they need to make informed decisions about their fertility. I’m on a mission to educate as many women as I can. Please share this post and reach out with any questions you may have. #EggFreezing #FertilityAwareness #WomensHealth #FuturePlanning #FamilyPlanning #FertilityEducation #WomensEmpowerment #FreezeYourEggs #FertilityJourney #ReproductiveHealth #IVF #FertilitySupport #FertilityPreservation #HealthcareEducation #EmpoweredWomen

💭 Ever have those interactions that just stick with you days after you've had them? The other day, I was on a conference call, where an attendee said... "Fertility is a difficult math problem." 😖 I haven't stopped thinking about how this statement can be solved since I heard it. How do we put time, finances, and support on the side of women? There's no better industry primed and ready for shake up and I'm inspired by the companies breaking down each part to help women solve these challenges. The second we found out that this would be the challenges we faced personally, we dove headfirst into all things reproductive. From the science to the insurance landscape, to the advocacy, it's been one of the defining moments of my adult life having been in healthcare leadership for more than a decade. If fertility is the equation, then education, healthcare, and policy are the variables that need optimizing. It seems quite solvable if you ➕ support, ➖ barriers, ✖ resources, and ➗ responsibilities. Just some afternoon thoughts on a quote that hasn't left my mind. 😉 #Fertility #healthcare #reproductiveeducation
