Experience they say is the best teacher. A wise man learn from experience, a wiser man learn from people's experience and a wise man learn from mistake while a wiser man learn from people's mistakes. Experience leave a scar that you can never forget. Most times when your parents or someone older keep insisting on something to do or not to do. They are not actually speaking from wisdom but from experience and regardless of your knowledge or degree you can never see from their point of view. Experience do not just leave us with a scar but lesson we can learn from. Honor every words that is coming from experience. Honor every words from your parents. I'm Adebayo Oluwatobi Joel.

When talking of #TPD, the emphasis is on areas of understanding, teaching skills or teaching related competencies, and also attitudes. If I had to work with a group of #teachers I would begin by asking them: ‘Who are you? What kind of life do you want?’ Because it is teachers’ perceptions about themselves and their role, that determine what they are going to find worth doing and worth engaging with or internalising from whatever the TPD process is going to attempt. And that is a discussion that must happen as a partner, not as someone ‘above’ giving gyan. This is a short video on what this entails, and the ‘teacher identity’ we must negotiate with our participants / colleagues. https://lnkd.in/gvD7Sunu

“𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐬.“ Cheating might bring you temporary 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬, but in the 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 run, it only 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 your true potential. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲 institutions enforce strict exam policies to ensure authentic 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬. This allows students to earn grades 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 genuinely reflect their knowledge and 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 work. However, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 all institutions have strong policies, which creates 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 for dishonest practices. Students who 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 often do so throughout their school, college, and 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 years. This 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭 can follow them 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 their professional lives, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 to unethical behavior in the workplace—a cycle that is detrimental to 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 integrity and 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 as a whole. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞? 𝟏. Shakespeare's plays, sonnets, or verses - do you recall their challenging reading level? That's exactly what our 'Super 30' batch of iTeach BJR chose to begin their new academic year with! This batch of 30 academically higher-order students of Grade 10 picked William Shakespeare's poem ‘All the World’s a Stage’, which describes the seven stages of life - for reading and solving the worksheet based on it. Almost 90% of them understood it without any teacher intervention and succeeded in solving the worksheet! They also stated the differences between the stages of life with actions and feelings which made the class even more engaging. This is remarkable as often while supporting students with higher needs in the class, the academically higher-order ones end up learning with an average rigour level. It's a small step toward providing varied exposure to these students that best caters to their intellect like oracy classes focusing on discussions & debates on current affairs, learning how to deliver a speech, participating in MUNs, and organising career visits. Our School Principal of iTeach BJR, Atharva Gadgil even came up with a very inspiring tagline for our Super 30 Batch which says, "Hum Maarenge Chhalang!" (We will take the leap!) ____________________________________ #iTeachSchools #iTeach #transformationaleducation #educationinindia #ngo #ngoinpune #edreform

What do you want to become?... What is your dream? Since Childhood, I am facing this question. I used to give conventional answers like.... Doctor, IPS officer, Teacher etc.etc. Hearing this, a smile would come on the face of the person asking the question. Behind the scenes..... Once there was an English class in my 3rd semester. The teacher was asking this same question. and I was uff😮💨not again.. Everyone was giving answers. 🌀Ist bench Student - want to be an IAS officer. Teacher - Why? Student - want to bring change in the society. And me in my mind 🤨 ( ye society ni badlne vali😤, this society is not going to change. I know very well why you want to be.🤨.) So, similar Answers were there..... and everyone's why was not similar but it was actually the same.😑 and what was that..... "Sir, I want to bring change in society".😶🌫️ And Finally it's my turn now 😁 Teacher - what do you want to become? Me - I want to get fame. The whole class was staring at me intently.🫣 Thank God I didn't say I want to be Ambani. Otherwise they would have eaten me up 😤 Teacher- (with shocking 🙁 Expression) WHY? Me - I want people to listen to me. Teacher - (lost his patience)🥴 Strange, But Okay, Good. And moved to the next bench. Okay, let me Ask you now. it's your turn. not About you, of course not But about me 😌 What do you think about my answer and mainly what are your thoughts about Fame? 🤔🤔🤔 BTW I gave the same answer as others said. but answered a little in an unconventional way or we can say "Straight Truth"🤔🤔🤔 🌄PS: This image is from Gandhian Department of my Campus. #Linkdin #personalbranding #Fame
