What an inspiring week at #Greenbuild! Our Senior Project Manager, Emily DeCremer, delivered an exceptional case study on one of our client’s buildings in Dublin that achieved TRUE certification, underscoring the significant impact of zero waste in the built environment. Additionally, she facilitated an engaging table exercise where participants examined the challenges and opportunities of #TRUE Precertification for their own projects. Emily and Gabriele R. co-led a session titled "Zero Waste Odyssey," guiding the audience through today’s waste landscape—highlighting its positive, negative, and challenging aspects. Utilizing #zerowaste frameworks, we vividly illustrated the opportunities on the horizon, stressing the potential of circular economy strategies to pave the way for a waste-free future. Our team also participated in the TRUE Breakfast, which included a ceremony showcasing #TRUE Certified projects, where we and Webcor proudly represented Vanir and Contra Costa County regarding the TRUE certification of the Contra Costa County Administration Building B & Plaza Construction! ( 🔗 https://lnkd.in/giMzxbUG) Thank you to everyone who accompanied us on this exciting journey toward a #regenerative future and to all those we connected with in Philly. The week was filled with meaningful discussions and shared insights. A special thanks to the U.S. Green Building Council and the Greenbuild International Conference & Expo. Let’s keep driving change together! #Greenbuild2024 #ZeroWaste #TRUECertification #CircularEconomy #Sustainability

Municipalities are going Greener🌱 Municipalities do a lot to look after their residents. They provide the city with green parks, improve infrastructure, and arrange temporary housing when needed. And even more importantly: they prefer to do it in an eco-friendly way. Almost every municipality enforces strict environmental regulations for city projects in order to keep their city clean and green. That's why they’re open to innovative products, such as Greener's mobile batteries. An example: Greener was part of a sustainability showcase with Tarmac as they worked on a big infrastructure project for the municipalities of Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees: https://hubs.ly/Q02NlTrv0 Curious about what else we can do for your municipality?
