Here is a brief portfolio I have made covering my work in my third year as an architecture student at the University of Lincoln.

#MAUCA_Modules As the climate crisis accelerates, architects must rethink the environmental impact of buildings. The "Architecture in a Climate Emergency" module in the MSc Architecture, Urbanism and Climate Action (MAUCA) equips students with advanced knowledge of #climatechange and its relationship to the built environment. Throughout the twelve-week module, students will explore climate science, resource depletion, and the life cycle performance of buildings. They will engage with current debates on #sustainability and apply their learning to real-world challenges, both in Ireland and globally. By the end, students will be able to design with #energyconsumption, #carbonintensity, and in-use performance in mind, contributing to a sustainable future for architecture. I’m very excited to announce that TRACE lab research (co-authors below) has won the ACSA TAD Research Contribution Award for our paper ‘Data Visualization for a Circular Economy: Designing a Web Application for Sustainable Housing’. This award recognizes outstanding peer-reviewed research published in the Technology | Architecture + Design Journal. Our paper outlines our new web application, ‘Data Homebase’, which aims to foster a circular economy in the housing sector to tackle Canada’s housing supply challenge while mitigating the environmental impacts of building. We develop ‘Housing Passports’ - which are ‘nutrition labels’ for housing towards accelerating the digitalization of buildings. This helps municipalities and policymakers to understand if urban mining can occur at the city level and allows us to see housing as ‘banks’ of material resources waiting to be tapped. Facilitating repair and reuse as an alternative to demolition and new construction, rapidly increases the speed in which housing supply challenges can be addressed.
