Absolutely delighted that we have been accepted onto the RBS Accelerator Programme. 🎉 This is a massive opportunity for us. 🙌🏻 It allows us amazing office spaces across the UK - which we will use every week in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester. It allows us to collaborate with, learn from, and surround ourselves with an incredible calibre of businesses across the UK. We also get access to a brilliant mentor in John Willoughby CCIBS - who is tasked with keeping us accountable and focussed. The standard of businesses on the programme genuinely blew my mind and we feel very honoured to be on it. Buzzing 💪🏻 HWG.

Reflections and plans…. It’s been quite a few months at JS Learning Towers (ah hem, a summer house at the bottom of a garden) and we’re proud to share our reflections, learnings, and plans! ⭐️ Following a very quiet Q4, Q1 picked up nicely! We’ve worked with some fantastic hotels, including DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole & DoubleTree by Hilton London Kensington. ⭐️ We’ve also been proud to kick off a partnership with BEE Change Ltd to build a pretty awesome Business Change workshop (keep eyes peeled for more, coming soon!). ⭐️ We’ve also partnered closely with Sarah Elliott to design some awesome workshops for some top clients But what have we learned…? 🪞 Things take time as priorities change 🪞 Some people simply don’t reply, even when they’ve requested a proposal. And that’s ok because life is busy (although we would appreciate a quick note to confirm where you’re at!) 🪞 Trust our talent. We know where our strengths lie, and we only play in those spaces. So, if we tell you we can do something, we absolutely can smash it out the park 🏏 As for Q2….: 🎉 We began our journey toward accreditation as a business to offer coaching (follow us now for pro-bono coaching offers!) 🎉 We began our journey on the NatWest Accelerator Programme, so you can be damn sure we’re going to grow even more in Q2/3! 🎉 We’re in talks with a few new potential clients which will bring some really exciting developments to life (🤞) Bring on Q2! #PowerUp #DevelopmentReimagined #Hospitality #BusinessGrowth #EntrepreneurJourney #SmallBusiness #LearningAndDevelopment #GuestExperience

I originally joined the NatWest accelerator program fresh out of lockdown… Because I started a business and 6 months in we had that Covid thing 🤦🏼♀️ but mostly because I had ZERO network or friends who ran businesses that I could talk to, celebrate with or bounce ideas off 💡 And whilst the workshops and coaching have been brilliant having a girl gang of business owners is my FAVOURITE part 💝 *and the fact they will do TikTok’s with me helps too 😂 Michele D'Souza Aveline Rust Alysha Daniels Aprille Russell

Its been a couple or weeks or more since I did a wee video ramble, so to kick off the week I wanted to do a little gratitude post. Friday was Ignition Day at the RBS Accelerator in Glasgow, and what a great start it was. I met some amazing people and bumped into a few familiar faces. It was great to speak with fellow business owners, some of whom are at similar stages to me, some are a few steps ahead and others are right at the start of their journey. I find it tough to carve out time to work on my business. Some weeks it's just head down until I get to the end of the week and then I go again the next week. I am sure other business owners at my stage are in similar shoes. Being part of the accelerator will force me to take the time to really think about what it is that I want to achieve and how best to do it. I have already got a bit more clarity on my vision and I am really excited to do the work to turn it into a reality. Look forward to sharing more updates over the coming weeks, but for now I am just thankful that I have the opportunity to try and build the business that I want. What are you grateful for today? I would love to hear in the comments. Have a GREAT week everyone. #gratitude #sme #growth #innovation

Last chance to apply this year! 📆 Apply before Wednesday 17th April. Take a look what Jordan had to say about receiving the fund below: "The Santander Entrepreneurship Fund (SEF) helped me realise my potential and for me to see in me what others did not. I would like to thank Careers and Employability and Santander Universities for the advantage they have given me; assisting my dreams to become a reality by helping me to buy equipment for my future business which I may not have been able to purchase myself without this funding." 💡If you have a start-up business idea and need to get it off the ground, would £1,000 help you get started? ✔️ Interested? UK Undergraduates, Postgraduates and graduates of University of Chester can apply now on CareerHub. To find out more about SEF, whether you are eligible, and how to apply, click here - https://lnkd.in/ePpppdBP #VentureProgramme #SantanderUniUK @SantanderUKNews #chestercareers

I am excited to share that out of 3000+ participants from 12 countries, I was among the few selected to complete the 12-week Santander X Explorer pre-incubation program. This intensive experience included 96 hours of rigorous training, covering essential entrepreneurial skills and knowledge in line with Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Here's a snapshot of the key training we received each week: Week 1: Time management, team dynamics, and ethics. Week 2: Identifying problems and understanding target personas. Week 3: Crafting a compelling value proposition. Weeks 4-5: Establishing hypotheses and designing experiments. Weeks 6-7: Constructing and testing a minimum viable product (MVP). Weeks 8-9: Building landing pages and validating hypotheses. Week 10: Developing a robust business model. Week 11: Navigating pricing strategies, finance, and funding. Week 12: Learning the art of storytelling and pitching. Link: https://lnkd.in/ejUWR64k This program has been an incredible learning journey, a big shout out to all the co-participants and the Santander organising team!
