Agrale Argentina has partnered with Allison Transmission to equip their new armored Cash-In-Transit (CIT) vehicles with the advanced Allison 2000 Series™ fully automatic transmission. This collaboration has resulted in the development of the Automatic Agrale MA10 chassis, specifically designed for CIT vehicles, ensuring maximum security in the transportation of valuables. "Until now, most armored CIT vehicles were mounted on a truck chassis and did not have a fully adequate structure to receive the body. Some, although intended for this niche, did not meet all the specifications to guarantee maximum security in the transportation of valuables. Agrale identified this need in the armored vehicle segment and developed a special chassis for this application," said Ignacio Armendariz, Commercial and After Sales Manager, Agrale Argentina. Seems like DAF did a good job with XF 2025 model. It is one of the ''City Safe'' trucks, which means it has good features of collision avoidance in the city environment. But as always, Volvo Trucks scores the best overall. On the other hand, why do we allow such huge trucks to enter city anyway? #ncap #euroncap #trucks #trucksafe #evtrucks #collisionprevention #daf #eindhoven

Big wheels and tall lifts may look good, but does it matter if you change the vehicle's position? Most manufacturers say yes. Altering the vehicle's position alters the point of reference #ADAS systems use to make their calculations. GM, for example, says, "Non-genuine lift / lowering kits, wheel rims and tires, suspension / steering and other components or modifications that impact ride height, alignment angles and vehicle dynamics / handling are not recommended.". This can lead to malfunctions and inaccurate readings, compromising safety. Always check for OEM documentation regarding any modifications! #Calibration #Collision #CollisionRepair #Autobody #Bodyshop

Well isn't that a turn up for the books! An Electric AWD Pick up with a 1t payload and reportedly likely to tow at 3.5t. Coming from Isuzu Truck UK , with a currently award winning 4x4 Workhorse pickup this could be very good news for the sector! Decarbonisation of this small but important sector has been tricky, but perhaps now it will have a mainstream option to help get this sector moving. I really like the look of it, don't you? #commercialvehicles #electricvehicles #4x4

🚗 Understanding the Crankshaft Position Sensor 🚗 The crankshaft position sensor is a crucial component in your vehicle's engine management system. It monitors the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft, providing vital data to the engine control unit (ECU) for optimal performance. A faulty sensor can lead to issues such as engine misfires, poor fuel economy, and stalling. Regular inspection can prevent these problems and ensure a smooth ride. ✅ United - Quality you can count on. Commercial Vehicle Wight Concept # 1) Unladen Wight 2) Payload Wight #What is unladen weight (ULW) ? ULW stands for unladen weight. It is the weight of a vehicle when it's not carrying any passenger, goods, or any other item. ULW is inclusive of chassis weight, cabin weight & load body/trailer weight, it also includes weight of 90% capacity of the tank filled with diesel & all the consumables like engine oil, gear oil, etc. at the top-up level. It also includes the weight of the crew members. ULW is also known as kerb weight. Mathematically, ULW = GVW- Payloads Cowl , Cabin and Fully built vehicle chassis unladen Wight are includes with following 1)Cabin and Chassis Wight 2)90% Diesel Tank Filled3)Consumable Wight4)Crew Member Weight #Following are importance of unladen wight. 1)Higher the unladen weight, lesser will be the payload of the vehicle which would lead to lesser revenue generation. 2)Lower the unladen weight, higher would be the payload of a vehicle which would lead to higher revenue generation. 3)All OEMs aim to reduce the unladen weight of their vehicles, so that customer can carry a higher payload which would increase their revenue. ............................................................................. #What is payload ? The payload is the load which a vehicle can carry legally. Mathematically, it is arrived by deducting ULW from GVW/GCW of a vehicle. Since 2015, Govt. Has also allowed the carriage of 5% in excess of registered GVW/GCW. Payload is also known as rated load. Mathematically,Payload of a truck = GVW (Gross vehicle weight) - ULW (Unladen weight)Payload of a tractor trailer= GCW (Gross combination weight) - (Unladen weight of the tractor + Unladen weight of the trailer) Following are the importance of payload :1)Higher the payload = Higher the revenue generation. 2)This is an important aspect for each & every customer, while purchasing a commercial vehicle, because higher the payload, higher their revenue would be. Higher revenues help in higher overall profit. There was a time when rampant overload was a normal scenario in India, however, off-late all longer distance operations are strictly monitored which has forced operators to operate at rated load.............................................................................
