Azerbaijan and Georgia Launch Joint Railway Venture to Enhance Regional Connectivity

"It's a race, the market is pushing so hard" Gwendoline Cazenave is right ! High Speed rail in Europe has never been so profitable ! At Kevin Speed we are staying away from the complications of the London-Continent market due to the new EES EU entry system. We chose instead to enter the domestic french market on three of its six most profitable lines : ilisto will serve Paris-Lille, Paris-Lyon and Paris Strasbourg. We teamed up early with Alstom for 20 new single deck high speed trainsets. We secured the first Track Access Framework Agreement on these three lines from the french government, infrastructure manager (SNCF Réseau), four regions and the independant Railway Transport Authority (Autorité de régulation des transports). "Industry executives" also say that up to 4 contenders are now wrestling to take Track Access Framework Agreements on Bordeaux-Paris and the atlantic High Speed line and LISEA, aiming to take advantage of the french market which is the largest and most profitable in Europe. Partial change of ownership at LISEA is now on the agenda, probably spurred by the increase in traffic. The capitalistic race for profitable lines have indeed started on High Speed Rail in Europe.
