All Raise’s Post

For anyone who still has their doubts, I can confirm: venture does not have a pipeline problem. I recently had the opportunity to join hundreds of senior women investors from across the venture capital community for the annual All Raise summit. Being in rooms like these that are filled with brilliant investors – who happen to be women – is a powerful reminder that the stats that plague our industry are tired and long-overdue to change: 2% of venture dollars invested in all-female founded teams; 3% of AUM raised to female fund managers. Does anyone think women only have 2-3% of the good ideas?!? Who gets funded matters. Funding is an important factor in helping brilliant ideas break through. I was energized by the conversations I participated in at AllRaise and look forward to more collaboration and co-investments with this community.
