Hyderabad, Indore and Pune will be the new tech hubs of India- Thanks to GCCs. We all know that GCCs have already expanded their presence across India. But, instead of choosing i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, it is moving towards other cities. Currently, India is home to 1,580 major GCCs with over 2,700 centres spread across multiple cities. These centres aren’t just limited to traditional Fortune 500 companies but also include Fortune 1000 and Fortune 2000 firms. As employment opportunities grow, the demand for skilled professionals in emerging technologies like AI and machine learning will rise.GCCs are evolving and are no longer seen as mere cost centres. To keep up with escalating demand and rapid digitization across tech and non-tech sectors, GCCs plan to increase their headcount by 30% to 50%. They are also exploring freelancing and contractual opportunities to boost workforce flexibility and access specialized skills. Thus, it will be interesting to see how India stands out from others, especially in the tech hiring scene which can be solved in the upcoming years. #GlobalTalent #GCCs #TechHiring
