You may have noticed automated lawnmowers quietly cutting the turf if you tuned into last week’s PGA Tour event. These AI-powered mowers are more than cool gadgets—they’re a glimpse into the future of golf course management. Here’s why this matters: - Sustainability: These mowers optimize their cutting patterns, reducing energy consumption and minimizing waste. - Precision: GPS guidance and real-time data can deliver the exact cuts needed to keep greens tournament-ready. This is just another way technology is reshaping the golf industry. The game is evolving from plugin-in feedback surveys to automated mowers, and it's exciting to watch. How do you feel about robots taking over the greens?
Four self-driving mowers are used to cut the grass of the Black Desert Resort golf course, mowing 51 acres from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Looks pretty good! Check it out:

𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘! 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 The next time you tee up your Titleist ProV1 golf ball and take aim at your oversized graphite driver – take a second and let your thoughts wander back to the earliest days of golf. It’s not surprising that one of the world’s most popular games relied on the durability of leather to get its start! The game started in Scotland the 1400’s featuring wooden balls and wooden clubs with rock faces. Thankfully, technology “quickly” advanced over the next several hundred years with the invention of the world’s most durable and sustainable golf balls - the “Featherie.” These balls were made of leather on the outside and stuffed with “feathers” as their name suggests. These leather balls ruled the game of golf for more than 400 years. Each ball was handcrafted (the Featherie consumed a bucket of boiled goose feathers for each ball, which a skilled maker could produce 4 per day) and usually cost more than the club. I don’t know about you – but that would spur me to look a little longer for a lost ball! The leather ball became popular because it had better flight characteristics than its wooden predecessor. Believe it or not, the average length of a drive for a pro using a Featherie in the 1800s was almost 200 yards and its record was over 350 yards with the wind behind on the Scottish Links. Was John Daly alive back then? So, fast forward another 300 years, and golf has turned into a billion-dollar industry with the latest and greatest golf ball technology draining our pockets every year. For most of us weekend golfers, it sounds like we could’ve saved lots of money and been just as successful by shifting from Titleist’s latest and greatest – to a simple ball made of leather and feathers. #leatherhistory #leather #history #golf #sustinability #Scotland #durability #leatherisbetter

Boosting Sustainability with Biological Nitrogen Fixation (BNF)! In the journey towards a greener, more sustainable future, embracing Biological Nitrogen Fixation (BNF) and innovative biological products is a game-changer for landscape management. Here's why: BNF enriches the soil with natural nitrogen, fostering robust plant growth without the harmful effects of synthetic fertilizers. Healthier soils mean stronger, more resilient landscape. By reducing reliance on chemical nitrogen fertilizers, we minimize the risk of nitrogen contamination in stormwater runoff. This protects our precious surface and groundwater systems, ensuring cleaner water for all. Cutting down on synthetic fertilizers translates to significant cost savings. Investing in BNF and biological products is not just an eco-friendly choice but also a smart economic decision for landscape managers. Adopting these methods promotes a sustainable landscape management approach, reducing the environmental footprint and contributing to long-term ecological balance. Let's work together to cultivate landscapes that thrive in harmony with nature. Embrace BNF and biological products to nurture healthier soils, safeguard our environment, and create beautiful, sustainable green spaces! #Biological #Biofertilizers #Biostimulants #Beneficial Microorganisms Ask me about these, I am open to work!!
