AI has been a bit of a buzzword in medical writing this year, but how can it actually be used to improve efficiencies in medical writing? 🤔 Our team has been trialling the use of Microsoft Copilot in various aspects of regulatory and clinical writing, including how it can convert text from future to past tense. An obvious application for this was to adapt the Study Design section of a Protocol into the corresponding section of a CSR (publicly available and non-confidential documents, of course). Here's an overview of the case study and results ⬇ interested in learning more? 👍 How else do you think AI will be a helpful tool for medical writers? #AI #MedicalWriting #Protocol #CSR #Copilot #MicrosoftCopilot

Hi Medical writers, As we all know about AI in medical writing, people often forget that content writing and medical writing are two different things. Especially in research writing, each and every point should be aligned with your research objectives, show correlation with your outcomes, and most importantly, justify the flow of your manuscript. From my experience with current AI tools, they cannot provide even 1% of the precision required. Yes, AI can help in the detection of human errors, whether intentional or accidental. We should utilize it for that purpose only. Let me know, your opinion✍️
