Analyzing Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) reveals a significant gap between OEM projections and independent research. While #eVTOL manufacturers claim air taxi fares will be comparable to conventional taxis, independent studies suggest higher ticket prices. Our analysis of three #AAM use cases — City Taxi, Airport Shuttle, and Inter City — using a comprehensive cost model, indicates initial operations may face higher operating costs and thus higher ticket prices.
