Falls don’t just hurt people physically; they impact facilities financially and families emotionally: • $50 billion is spent annually on fall-related medical costs in the U.S. alone. • Residents who experience a fall often see a 40% increase in fear and loss of mobility. • Facilities with frequent falls risk a 20% drop in occupancy rates due to reputational damage. At ALFGrowth, we start with "why": because every resident deserves to feel safe, every family deserves peace of mind, and every caregiver deserves the tools to make that happen. With our technology, we’ve achieved: • 50% fewer falls per month. • 90% resident trust and 85% family satisfaction. • Response times were cut from 15–20 minutes to less than 30 seconds. We’re not just reducing risks but restoring confidence and creating safer environments for everyone involved. What role do you think technology should play in transforming senior care? Let’s inspire change together. #StartWithWhy #SeniorCare #ALFGrowth #FallPrevention #InnovationInCare #ResidentSafety #TrustAndCare #SeniorCare #Innovation #ALFGrowth #SafetyFirst #AssistedLiving #TechnologyInCare #ResidentCare #FamilyFirst

It’s hard to believe we’re already in December, wrapping up another year of growth, learning, and meaningful connections. I’m incredibly grateful for the partnerships and relationships I’ve built in 2024—and I’m even more excited about the opportunities that 2025 will bring. This week, I’m staying focused on laying the groundwork for an even stronger year ahead. Here’s my plan: ✔️ Reconnecting with referral sources to strengthen relationships ✔️ Following up on opportunities to build new partnerships with key players in the community ✔️ Dropping off resources at facilities that can benefit from non-medical home care support ✔️ Finding ways to be a resource for hospitals, rehabs, senior centers, and families. Caring Senior Service is here to make a difference—ensuring seniors remain healthy, happy, and independent at home. I’m excited to collaborate with organizations that share this mission and vision. If you’re looking to partner in 2025 to provide seniors with the support they need, let’s connect! The work we do together changes lives. Let’s finish 2024 strong and build something even better in the year to come. #SeniorCare #HomeCare #Collaboration #Partnerships #EndOfYearPlanning

Caregiver turnover is proving to be costly for employers. It's no longer just about traditional backup or medical care; caregivers are leaving their roles due to insufficient support, resulting in a staggering $44 billion expense. During the recent Silicon Valley conference hosted by From Day One, Julia Cohen Sebastien, the Co-Founder and CEO of Grayce, addressed the crucial topic of family care and its impact on today's workforce. The statistics clearly show that a comprehensive review and re-launch of family care services are essential. The solution lies in providing inclusive and effective strategies that meet the diverse care needs of your workforce. Interested in discovering what contributes to successful family care support? Families have changed — and so has being a caregiver. It has only become more complex, and we need to recognize that. For example, I recently presented to a group of HR leaders. I asked them to pair up and guess each others’ family responsibilities. Without fail, most people assumed that the person sitting next to them was part of a heteronormative nuclear family ( 👨👩👧👦 mom, dad, 2 kids, dog...). But that wasn't the case for most people. And yet, many of the people in the room considered themselves as caregivers. So my design prompt at Grayce is this: How do we design for families of today and tomorrow, being inclusive, leaving biases at the door? This work is not easy, but we now have 5 generations in the workforce. I’m inspired every day by the work we’re doing at Grayce, and to interface with companies who are thinking deeply about these issues and how it impacts their workforce. Here are 7 recommendations I shared: ✅ Think across and beyond life stages for all family members ✅ Be inclusive of extended family ✅ Foster global and local connections ✅ Think beyond backup and physical care ✅ Review and incorporate DEI ✅ Review which employee segments are using family programs ✅ Clearly define and measure metrics for ROI #caregiving #familycare #employeebenefits Grayce

"Clients Don’t Come First. Neither Do Caregivers." it’s easy to say “clients first” or “caregivers first.” But here’s the truth: both come second to something bigger— the experience we create for them. In the senior care industry, our obsession is creating exceptional experiences for both clients and caregivers. Providing a service is just the starting point - what truly matters is the meaningful connections and sense of trust, comfort, and dignity that we foster. Every day, we are driven to find new ways we can better support our clients and empower our caregivers. For clients, that means focusing on every touchpoint to ensure they feel genuinely cared for - from warm smiles to timely service to an overall feeling of safety. For our caregivers, who are the heart of our organization, it's about investing in their professional development through specialized training and consistent feedback. We also work to cultivate a workplace culture where every caregiver feels valued and supported. At Home Instead, we put this philosophy into practice through rapid response times for new client needs, Alzheimer's certification for our caregivers, and dedicated quality assurance managers. But our commitment to excellence doesn't stop there. We are constantly asking how we can deepen connections with families and ensure our caregivers are not just workers, but proud ambassadors of exceptional care. To our fellow senior care professionals and advocates, we invite you to join us in exchanging ideas on what exceptional client and caregiver experience means to you. Together, we can elevate our industry to new heights. #SeniorCare #ExperienceFirst #CaregiverEmpowerment #LeadershipInCare
