Prabhakar Raghavan has taken on the new role of Chief Technologist at Google, following a major leadership reshuffle announced by CEO Sundar Pichai. Raghavan, previously responsible for Google's Search and Ads, will now focus on steering the company's technological direction and driving innovation across the organization. After 12 years of leading key divisions, Raghavan’s shift marks a return to his computer science roots, where he will collaborate closely with Pichai and other executives to maintain Google’s leadership in technology. Nick Fox has been appointed to succeed Raghavan, overseeing Google’s Search, Ads, Geo, and Commerce divisions.
