This is your reminder that we have Zero Tolerance for Hate speech in Canada and rallying hate on a day that will be considered one of the saddest in history is grotesque, to say the least. Currently, we have Founders, C-Suite and Clients asking how to fire for cause based on breaking organizational policy and conversations with CEOs who will not accept what is happening worldwide and in Canada. I have seen an immense rise in background checks, specifically on social media, and offers being retracted based on atrocious actions taken by candidates and employees. Remember, your actions will always have consequences. Keep this in mind when you receive an email informing you that a company has decided not to consider your candidacy. Today on October 7th, Marshall Law remembers the brutal attacks in Israel by Hamas. We also grieve for the immense pain and suffering of women who experienced sexual assault, mutilation, and violence committed by Hamas. We stand in solidarity with the survivors of the October 7th attack. We grieve and are saddened by all the innocent lives lost. The effect of this trauma reverberates long after the date that it occurred.
