“AI will destroy how kids learn at the school….” I’ve heard this many times, the same I still listen to parents saying they won’t take their kids to one school or the other you know why??? Because they are using computers 😱😱😱 Can you imagine how bad it’s to use a computer to learn? Well, the discussion with AI is not much different but the reality is that it accelerates learning process exponentially. This kids, instead of playing sports or watching cartoons, are just coding thanks to it. It’s amazing to see what it’s yet to come! #ai #genai #coding #education

Eduardo, let's think about this: "This kids, instead of playing sports or watching cartoons, are just coding thanks to it." What kind of people will kids who have neither played, played sports or watched cartoons become? Flesh robots for Sam Altman? OpenAI directly targets skills of the middle class meritocracy, the only social group mildly left standing since the lower economic strata has already been commoditized by automation years ago. Where is that middle class going to go? Will they "automatically" become part of the millionaire class? Why do you think Elon Musk is talking about universal minimum wage? Not because it comes out of his billionaire "heart." It's because only a fraction of the jobs available now will be left, but without the masses consuming things, billionaires like your boss cannot buy another yatch to follow his current yatch that now follows his sail ship. AI has been left in the hands of the technically smart and socially oblivious, and the first thing they did so they can make the tech bigger brute force is to sell it to the military.

Scared of what #AI can do, I see many young people who are "afraid" to learn anything nowadays. Don't be; you are severely ruining your one chance at beating AI. Now is exactly the time to master learning, not to shy away from it. AI isn't something that you beat with a well-placed and timed uppercut, or even an army. You have to know its guts inside out so you can command it or contribute to it. There is no other, easier way. Every day you're not learning coding, math, philosophy, etc. because AI can do better, you are losing. This is a marathon as much as it is a race. Don't be a loser, dammit. Kind of a trend, seeing novice programmers learn a new language without understanding the fundamentals of computational thinking and solution design. Moreover, there is (still) a large pool of non-technical workers who are not in touch with the arts of problem solving and modern AI, as well as the benefits they can bring to their daily life and workflow. I am currently in the process of designing a number of online on-demand courses on computational skills, algorithmic thinking and AI/ML for novice programmers and non-programmers.
