Last week, Ashima Gulati and I hosted a small meet-up with some lovely folks interested in applying for their postgraduate programs in Public Policy. The evening was full of conversations and information sharing, where we deep-dived into the process, preparation, and our experience of applying to policy programs. We wanted to introduce a space to declutter and streamline the information around applications and help people get started. Across two hours, we asked important questions - what factors to consider when applying, how different profiles align with various eligibility criteria, what (oft-hidden) fees are involved - and how to avoid them, and our personal tips and advice on how best to navigate the next 6 months! It was a learning opportunity for us as well, and we want to extend the heartiest gratitude to everyone who made time to show up for an in-person space with the rain! Coming up, Ashima and I wanted to continue hosting these spaces online, so we can reach more of you.
