Can you imagine, having survived 9 months of brutal bombing, execution, mass graves, starvation, amputation, no sleep- deafness, and perpetual fear and grieving lost parents or children- while being forced to move again and again? We are deluded to think we are not individually complicit, and we are negligent to not examine our ethics and morals in our businesses, our networks, and our relationships and how they may be profiting from this darkness. My take on the latest developments. The success and impact of the Israeli response on 26th October, attacking targets deep into Iranian territories should not and did not come to anyone as a surprise. Israeli qualitative military edge is known by everyone. However, the impact caused by the Iranian ballistic missiles, circumventing Israeli air defenses, Arrow, on 1th of October, introduced a new reality, narrowing the gap btw the perceived security equation in the region and the actual one. ..Hezbollah did not effectively flght in the first line of defense in the areas close to the border, referring that they withdrew to the center to where they have built extremely sofisticated tunnel infrastructure. Moreover, advancing inwards could cost a lot more losses for Israel. That's why, I got surprised due to the claims that war goals are reached before approaching these areas. It's obvious that Hezbollah has received a huge blow, but not mainly Israeli military actions on the ground, but due to sophisticated intelligence operations and air campaign supported by high quality intel.

For those who accuse Israel of genocide in Gaza or Lebanon, this acknowledgment should prompt a reevaluation. True genocide involves systematic extermination, as seen in historical atrocities such as the Holocaust or the Rwandan Genocide. Israel’s actions, however, aim to neutralize threats like Hamas and Hezbollah—groups that use civilians as shields—while adhering to international law and prioritizing civilian safety. Maybe critics should focus on the Hamas and Hezbollah for thier war crimes: those who use their own civilians as shields and intentionally target others, instead of Israeli that is trying to defend itself while reducing harm.
