A new solution to the big polluted cities.
A Liquid Tree? Watch the video to discover this incredible innovation Planting trees in forests is a widely employed tactic by both corporations and governments to reduce carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. However, the challenge arises in densely populated cities with limited green spaces, particularly since these urban areas tend to have concentrated pollution. Thankfully, a team of Serbian researchers has devised a clever remedy: a liquid tree. Surely trees are the best possible 'technology' but what do you think of this innovation? #Civilengineering #innovation

As cities grow, construction now accounts for nearly 39% of global energy-related CO2 emissions. But what if we could flip the script and make concrete part of the solution instead of the problem? That’s exactly what Geneo is doing. Right here in Singapore’s Science Park, Geneo is pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation. One of their standout innovations is carbon dioxide mineralized concrete. This clever technology traps CO2 within the concrete itself, cutting down on emissions while making buildings stronger and more durable. With use of concrete throughout, sets a new benchmark for sustainable urban development. It’s proof that we can build cities that actually help the planet. How is your organization contributing to this effort? #SustainableInnovation #UrbanDevelopment #GreenBuilding

What a brilliant idea ... we should bring this to every major city in congested areas where there is a lot air pollution. Of course, we will need to consider how this water will need to get recycled, cost of setting this up, etc. And, this may address the symptoms, how do we change behaviours and cause less pollution and thereby address the real causes? As our outlook changes, our conscience awakens ... and so will our behaviours change.
