Colonization has stolen and decimated #indigenous territory, displacing communities and devastating #ecologies and #biodiversity. 🌿 📢 Today, colonization takes the form of rapidly expanding unsustainable—and often illegal—extractive industries and industrial #agriculture. For communities, being forced off their lands is more than a material loss.
