Instead of relying on automated tools, assign a person to manage this. Start small—restrict access to a resource, and if no one notices after a few weeks, it’s probably safe to shut it down. Remember, always take a backup first! 💾 Delete Unnecessary Data Do you really need years of backups for every instance? Probably not. Review your S3 and EBS storage—deleting what’s no longer needed can save you thousands. 🛠️ Clean Up the Clutter Old experiments, unused Elastic IPs, endless CloudWatch logs—it all adds up. Here's a helpful AWS tip for determining when your AWS account was created: Navigate to the following URL: https://lnkd.in/gt-cC5Ni Once there, locate the registrationDate value and make a note of it. You can then convert this value to a readable date format using an epoch converter tool. This will provide you with the precise date and time when your AWS account was created. #awscloud
