West Hill in Hastings is home to curving terraces of colourful houses. My new property is currently a dirty magnolia, but I’ve got plans… Here’s 11 great reasons why I will paint my new property: 1. It will be more distinctive, giving it a unique identity and character. 2. It will considerably enhance its kerb appeal. 3. I’ll be able to highlight and emphasise some of the fancier architectural features. 4. It will contribute to a more attractive local streetscape. 5. A cheerfully painted house gives a sense of vibrancy, even on grey days. 6. It signals a sense of pride in the neighbourhood. 7. It aligns with the playful aesthetic of British seaside towns. 8. It gives an added layer of protection against weathering in a damp coastal environment. 10. It elevates the value of the property. 11. It confers a marketing advantage for a holiday let because it’s great for branding… I hope I’ve convinced you it’s a great idea to paint my new property! Now, what colour do you think I should choose???? #propertyuk #ukproperty #propertyinvestment #propertyinvestor #financialfreedom #passiveincome #victorianhouse

I like the two tone green one but I’m sure you’ll come up with something spectacular. It’s funny how in some areas to get into a wrangle with the council, for even painting the front door different colour.

Take inspiration from some of the wonderful exterior art, such as in Miami or San Fran. And park one of these outside

Amelia, I think you should use the colour palette you use on your posts, i.e. the colours going around the frame of this message as that would definitely create an outstanding property! 😁

Its a bit like picking a car colour, which will show the dirt the least and stand the test of time?
