The Applied Skills Session on Botulinum Toxin for Dystonia of the Head and Neck was engaging and informative. Mandar Jog Jaroslaw Slawek Cynthia Comella 1. Biomechanics of cervical dystonia was emphasized upon to improve outcomes including Col-Cap concept, identification of compensatory movements, range of movement and null point with recognition of the multiplicity of action of the muscles. 2. Injection into deep neck muscles proves rewarding. EMG is a valuable tool. 3. The injection sites for blepharospasm and ALO do not differ, the latter requiring higher doses of BTX. 4. Non-motor symptoms in focal dystonia need greater recognition in clinical practice to reduce dropouts. #MDSCongress
