It has been a busy and FUN few weeks at the Corewell health Center for Wellness. We have successfully launched both our culinary medicine programs for the remainder of the year! Our first class, ‘Centered’ aims at providing nutrition education and recipes for hypertension. Our second program, ‘Sprouts’ is our adolescent cooking program which addresses strengthening independence in the kitchen, introduction to nutrition education and facilitation of behavioral changes. Without our amazing team we couldn’t have done this so quickly! All of our programs address nutritional insecurity in the community, as there’s always fresh food to take home. #communitynutrition #registereddietitian Thank you to the wonderful dietetic intern, Man Sze for helping us!
