March 4: Receive His Gratitude "You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again." Psalm 71:20,21 It’s time to get rid of some things that you’ve been holding onto. Those things that are weighing you down will ultimately drain you. God has a principle to set you free—leave and cleave. In order to gain the big, you have to leave the little. What gives you the ability to walk away from something is knowing that there’s something better before you, that God has something greater in your future than what you’re letting go of in your past. Just because something or someone is familiar, doesn’t mean it’s good. I’ll never forget, back in the day, I used to think canned tuna was SO good... until I had real sushi. One of my first experiences eating at a restaurant was at Waffle House. I remember eating their chili and thinking it was the best chili ever! Now I know better, because my husband, Jon is an amazing cook. God has so much more in store for you, and it’s greater than anything you could ask or imagine. Why are you holding onto things that God is asking you to let go of? Consider exchanging your sorrow for God’s joy. Give God your pain and receive His healing. Give God all your complaints and receive His gratitude. Stop settling for the dollar menu when God has a five-star menu prepared for you.

Truly apocalyptic scenes. "Dad!" a little girl cries out, searching for her father after being separated from her family, as bullets rain down on them during their forced displacement from Beit Lahia. Unimaginably wicked and medieval in their barbarity. By God, make it stop! 𝗣𝗦. Notice the older man using the walking/Zimmer frame, trying so hard to move fast. Breaks my heart.

Word of Today What worries you? Wednesday, July 24, 2024 We can worry about thousands of different things, from what people think of us to what will happen in our future. Often the concern has no real basis. We anticipate worrying about things that may not even happen and that, even if they did, worrying wouldn't stop them. Only Jesus carries your heavy burden. Put your trust in God and give Him all your worries on this day. He takes care of you! Who of you, no matter how much you worry, can add even one hour to your life? Since you cannot even do such a small thing, why worry about the rest? - Luke 12:25-26 Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What are we going to drink?' or 'What are we going to wear?' For the pagans are the ones who run after these things; but your heavenly Father knows you need them. Therefore, seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Matthew 6:31-33 Take your concerns to the Lord in prayer. Talk to Him, but also pay attention to His voice. He wants to fill your heart with peace and remind you of the eternal hope you have in Him. Give him your worries and receive all the good things he wants to give you. He is faithful and will help you. Remember that you can trust God at all times and for all eternity. https://lnkd.in/dvZbr75m

"A TIME TO PRAY" Ecclesiastes 3-8 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
