Did you know this week marks World Immunization Week, always observed during the last week of April? From April 24th to 30th, we join hands globally to celebrate World Immunization Week, shedding light on the power of vaccines to protect us against diseases. Thanks to vaccination efforts, diseases like poliovirus and smallpox have been successfully eradicated in many countries. This remarkable achievement underscores immunization's crucial role in safeguarding public health. Yet, despite the proven benefits of vaccination, many individuals still hesitate to get vaccinated due to fears of potential side effects or misinformation. However, World Immunization Week serves as an opportunity to dispel myths and increase public awareness about the life-saving advantages of vaccines. At AHF, we're committed to this cause. Learn more about our project focusing on adult vaccination, with key opinion leaders Dr. Alejandra Macchi, Dr. Ana Paulina Celi, Dr. CARLOS ESPINAL, Dr. Cristián Biscayart, Dr. Diego Garcia, Dr. Prof. Eduardo Gotuzzo, Dr. Ernesto Montenegro Renoiner, Dr. Jaime Torres, Dr. Juan Del Canto y Dorador, Dr. Paola Casas vasquez, and Dr. Renato Kfouri: https://buff.ly/3U7y1j0 Design by Kathryn Salvatierra #worldimmunizationweek #immunization #vaccines #healthcare #access #policy #AHF

🌍 Today marks the start of #WorldImmunizationWeek! Celebrating 50 years of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), we honor the monumental strides made in public health through vaccination. 🎉🥳 🔬 This year, we commemorate a half-century of progress with the theme "Humanly Possible: Immunization for All." It's a call to action to increase investments in immunization programs and protect future generations. 💉 Did you know? Thanks to vaccines, infants today are 40% more likely to celebrate their first birthday compared to those born 50 years ago. Despite setbacks during the pandemic, with 20 million children missing essential vaccines last year, the resilience of global health efforts continues to push us forward. 🌐 It's crucial to support efforts ensuring every child and adult alike has access to life-saving vaccines. Let’s stand together to make universal immunization not just an aspiration, but a reality. #VaccinesWork #HumanlyPossible #ImmunizationForAll World Health Organization

Absolutely! Here's another post for World Immunization Week: Humanly Possible. This is theme of World Immunization Week 2024. 🌟 This World Immunization Week, let's celebrate the incredible progress we've made through vaccination and recommit ourselves to ensuring that everyone, everywhere has access to life-saving vaccines. 💉Vaccines are one of the most successful and cost-effective public health interventions, preventing millions of deaths each year from diseases like measles, polio, and influenza. They not only protect individuals but also strengthen community immunity, shielding those who cannot be vaccinated. However, as we celebrate the power of vaccines, let's also acknowledge the challenges we face. Disparities in vaccine access, vaccine hesitancy, and the spread of misinformation threaten our progress. It's crucial that we work together to address these issues and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from immunization. This World Immunization Week, let's pledge to: 🔍 Educate ourselves and others about the importance of vaccines and the science behind them. 🌐 Advocate for equitable access to vaccines for all communities, regardless of geography or socioeconomic status. 🤝 Support healthcare workers and immunization programs around the world. 📣 Speak out against vaccine misinformation and promote evidence-based information. Together, we can make a difference and build a healthier, more resilient world for all. 💪💙 Follow me for more useful tips... #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesSaveLives #HealthEquity #Freelancedigitalmarketer #Sarudigital

World Immunization Day is a powerful reminder of the role vaccines play in protecting us, our families, and communities from preventable diseases. Immunization doesn’t just protect individuals but also strengthens global health by curbing the spread of contagious illnesses. 💉 Vaccines have been a cornerstone in eliminating deadly diseases, from polio and smallpox to measles and diphtheria. Today, routine immunization continues to prevent millions of deaths every year, protecting future generations. However, gaps in vaccine coverage remain, especially in low-income regions, making it essential to improve access to immunization programs. As we celebrate World Immunization Day, let’s spread awareness on the importance of vaccination for all age groups, newborns, children, adults, and seniors. Immunization isn’t just about protection against illness; it’s a commitment to healthier, safer lives. 🌟 Let’s make sure everyone, everywhere has the opportunity to live free from vaccine-preventable diseases. #immunity #contagious #access #healthcare #publichealth #newborn #vaccine #immunization #preventable

August is National Immunization Awareness Month, an annual observance that highlights the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. Phreesia is proud to deliver #vaccine information to relevant patients in the moments that matter most—when they’re at the doctor. Over the past four years, we have delivered over 20.2 million vaccine-related messages to patients at the point of care. A survey of more than 55,000 patients revealed that these messages had a positive impact on patient knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. Check out some of the key results: - 49% of surveyed patients said the vaccine information they received was new to them, and 66% found the information helpful - 65% of surveyed patients who received vaccine information said they were likely to discuss vaccines with their doctor Interested in partnering with Phreesia to promote #immunizationawareness and drive public health efforts forward? Tekton Research recognizes World Immunization Week. The 2024 theme, "Humanly Possible," commemorates 50 years of the World Health Organization’s Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), symbolizing our shared commitment to saving lives from vaccine-preventable diseases. Immunization is a global public health triumph, annually saving 3.5–5 million lives. Launched in 1974, the EPI ensures equitable access to life-saving vaccines for every child worldwide, regardless of their background. Over five decades, the EPI has broadened its scope to offer vaccines for over 20 life-threatening diseases, including COVID-19. Throughout WIW, we'll share insights from Tekton's principal investigators, underscoring the importance of vaccination. Together, let's help ensure everyone has access to, and benefits from, the life-saving power of vaccines. #MakingLifeBetter #TektonResearch #WorldImmunizationWeek #VaccinesWork #ProtectOurFuture

Vaccines remains one of the most successful and cost-effective public health interventions. Vaccination prevents deaths every year in all age groups from diseases like diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), influenza, measles amongst others. At ACE, we believe in fostering healthy and thriving communities and we trust vaccination as a central component to achieving this goal. In the past few months, we have strengthened vaccination programs by working with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance , Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Vital Strategies, to implement key elements such as GIS microplanning, Enumeration of eligible children, baseline immunization surveys, HRH profiling, digital birth reporting and several other high impact interventions. We will continue to advocate for increased vaccine uptake and improved quality of care till vaccine preventable diseases are fully wiped out. Let's champion vaccination as a powerful tool for preventive healthcare! . . . #nphcda #vaccination #mondaymood #healthyworld #acestrategy
