Such a great series of videos Amir, thank you. I agree that HR as a function often gets stuck in the weeds and the operational role, without focusing enough on the strategy of the business.

Whatever you spoke really makes sense , very meaningful ...HR mostly is felt and active only at entry or exit points during an employees life cycle ....that's not enough !! Employee welfare and Retention are two main domains which needs utmost attention !! HR needs to redefine their roles and connect the dots within cross functional areas in any organization.....Thanks for sharing such a Insightfulful post Amir 👍👍

Amir A. Hamid Simply awesome You have captured the most important dilemma of HR leaders, they are deployed on fire fighting activities. Engrossed with operational work, this is where most of the professionals get into the trap. And loose the focus from more strategic and value based activities. No one can better summarise this all... Kudos, for all the good work.

Excellent to-the-point and exhaustive summary, Amir A. Hamid. Based on my observations, unfortunately, all points you mentioned are common when it comes to HR senior managers - especially lack of touch with the business side of the company and being drowned in operational tasks.
