I will contribute the chapter “Impact of unethical behavior on corporate reputation and shareholder value of listed companies” to this book, which is part of my MBA dissertation.

There are some common characteristics that universities who have successfully navigated conflict on their campus related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict possess. Along with my colleague, John Pelissero, we identify these traits, including the use of mission to guide decision making, in a piece we wrote for a recent Spotlight about the ethics of the conflict at the Markkula Center. https://lnkd.in/g2VBdG8g

This has been the most detailed, well-resourced, multi-facilitated and well-assessed at every stage of learning. The exam was challenging, though I’m excited to share that I’ve obtained a new certification in #Research_Ethics: a guide for responsible research with human subjects from KU Leuven! Appreciation to the lead professors, Prof Pascal Borry, Prof Kris Dierickx, Prof Chris Gastmans and the many guest speakers from various ethics review boards. The next move? Utility as a resource person on ethics in research.

I am very delighted to announce that my research paper got accepted for publication at Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility Journal (Wiley). Being the 1st paper from my PhD work, receiving the acceptance email marks a significat milestone in my PhD journey at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). This paper is a product of hardwork, dedication, and long-term learning with co-authors Tijs van den Broek and Kees Boersma. BookTok has taken over social media and is shaping a new generation of readers and literature. Liz Grumbach, the director of digital humanities and research at the Lincoln Center of Applied Ethics, has noticed a shift in the industry due to the new online phenomenon. “Sometimes that means that you find something like a recommendation for a book that allows you to connect to a perspective, a community or a new insight into the world that you never would have encountered,” Grumbach said. “I think that for every turn of the For You Page, there's the potential for harm, but there's also potential to connect.
