A life lesson from M.S Dhoni for D-day Most people including yours truly learn lessons in life the hard way. Life hits you with a brick and imposes a thought-process which you grudgingly accept. Not everyone learns from other's life which is essential to the learning process for one man can't learn all lessons on his own. Of the many anecdotes I heard, this one stuck and is worth pondering. In a reminiscence to media back in 2017, Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni recounted "When I was in 12th, I had to go out of Ranchi for a match during the exams. He wanted to seek permission of his Dad for the same. And as most of us do, he took the better route by asking through Mom.
