𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐂𝐑𝐀 2024 🇯🇵 Today I attended the 4th Workshop on Representing and Manipulating Deformable Objects together with my colleague Kevin Galassi. The lineup of speakers was great, with many fascinating talks and innovative research ideas! 🎤✨ I had the opportunity to showcase recent methods developed in our lab for the perception and manipulation of deformable objects, specifically: - 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞: 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 It was great to meet and exchange ideas with Kejia Chen, Piotr Kicki, Holly Dinkel, Zhaole Sun, Martin Filliung, Peter Mitrano and many others. Looking forward to seeing everyone at future conferences! 🌟

As you would expect from a Hot Topics session, it was indeed hot and generated a lot of interest from the audience. Fortunately, there are still almost two days to go, so there will be opportunities to continue the discussions started during the panel behind the scenes.
