I recently read an insightful post about Recruitment ‘Secret Sauce’. What characteristics can turn a good recruiter into a great one? Words such as ‘tenacity’, ‘resilience’ and ‘perseverance’ are often mentioned as skills the best recruiters typically have, but I’d say these are the key characteristics: 🧠 Natural curiosity and genuine interest ❓ An ability to ask the right questions 💡 An ability to understand a problem space quickly What characteristics do you think are important? #Recruitment #RecruiterSkills #TalentAcquisition #RecruiterLife

What makes a 'good' recruiter?🤔 There are so many qualities that empower in recruitment - whether it's pure hunger, ambition, or simply the 'gift of the gab'. It makes me wonder, what makes such a valued recruiter? - what makes someone so good at what they do, when we do the same thing? We may have the same phone, the same market, the same dream - we may eat the same breakfast every morning. So how can someone be so much more successful? I'll tell you how. Persistence. You will drown in a drought before you drown in business and that is the reality of why you have to keep going. You will face set backs, you will face the tests, but you have to pick up your head and keep going. Dot your i's - cross your t's and pick up that phone📱 This is recruitment, PERSIST. #recruitment #rec2rec

Skills can be taught, but fitting into a company's culture is crucial for long-term success. Another challenge is keeping up with the speed of the job market—top talent often gets snapped up quickly. Crafting a compelling job description is also key; it needs to attract the right candidates while being clear and concise. How do you overcome these challenges in your recruitment process? There is a huge responsibility when it comes to creating success for your candidates. Here are my recommendations for a successful recruitment process: ✔️ Have a matching call where you cover every detail. ✔️ Go on impromptu calls in case they have more questions. ✔️ Set the right expectations from the beginning. ✔️ Follow up with written confirmations, so both can go back and review. ✔️ Guide them through the interview process. ✔️ Provide constructive feedback at each stage. ✔️ Guide them through the contract signing process. Every step in the recruitment journey is important. While not everyone may recognize the effort, it will make a difference for someone. 😊 Let me hear from the recruiters, what other steps do you use? #recruiting #talent #hiringprocess

"Recruiters are not telecallers. It's not just about making calls or sending countless messages to fill a position.
