Open PhD position at UQ School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering!
Open PhD position at UQ School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering, focusing on Turbulent Flow in Canopies of Complex Geometries! I'm looking for a driven and passionate student who is eager to explore the world of turbulent flows in canopies. Turbulent flows in canopies regulate the transport of carbon dioxide, humidity, and heat in microclimates, and this project aims to develop insights into how different canopy geometries shape these dynamics. Understanding how complex geometric configurations influence flow structure and turbulence will have implications for environmental and engineering applications alike. And all of this in beautiful, sunny Brisbane! ☀️🌴 You need to meet UQ's PhD entry requirements (find in the link below) and have strong skills or interest in experimental fluid mechanics. If you (or someone you know) are passionate about turbulent flow dynamics and excited to work on this research, I would love to hear from you!
