𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗖 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘, 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗? Panic hardware is typically required on exit doors in specific situations where large numbers of people may need to exit quickly, such as:- • 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 (𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗔): In buildings like theaters, auditoriums, and stadiums, panic hardware is required on exit doors when the occupant load exceeds 50 person. • 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 (𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗘): In schools or other educational facilities, panic hardware is required on exit doors when the occupant load exceeds 50 person. • 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗛 𝗼𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆: In high hazard rooms or spaces when the occupant load exceeds 50 person. • 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 with equipment rated 1,200 amperes or more and over 1800 mm wide, and that contain overcurrent devices, switching devices or control devices 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱, 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴:    • Panic hardware shall be listed in accordance with UL 305.   • The maximum unlatching force shall not exceed 67 N. #lifesafety #fireprotection #NFPA #SBC #IBC
