Since taking the Body Armour brand on board I have started to actually pay attention to the things on packets of food that we eat and drink … First issue for the most part is it’s in a packet. Food we ingest should not be in a packet 🤦🏿♀️🤷🏽 crazy thought I know. Then you turn to water and hydration products … why do these contain sugar? Why do these have artificial colours? Can’t we use turmeric and other natural things to give colour? Of course we can but we have come accustomed to selling our health for a ‘cheap’ alternative. Yes, sugar in drinks are beneficial for sustained athletic endurance or shorter high intensity activities but what about if you are having 5-6L a day of it onsite? That’s A LOT of sugar … in some case 4x the RDI and that’s just what you are drinking!! 🫣 I challenge you to just check everything you eat or drink for a day … you will be as shocked as I was!
