Introducing: "Dancing Can". Our latest Guinness campaign invites more people to experience the joy and communion of a perfect pint at home with a modern nod to the beloved 1994 “Dancing Man” ad. The new campaign uses a stop-motion twist to promote the innovative Nitrosurge device, which uses ultrasonic technology to create the iconic surge with nitrogen bubbles, delivering smooth Guinness every time, everywhere, and putting the power of a perfect pour directly into consumers' hands. So today, we're raising a glass to our AMVers, our client partners at Diageo, Anna MacDonald, Nick Payman, Lauren Lewis (née Levy), Colin Donnelly, Rosalind Healy and Stephen. O'Kelly and our production partners Nexus Studios, Yamination Studios, Coffee & TV and Wave Studios London.
LOVE IT! I have lectured hundreds of times about the original ad, and how it was successfully defended against a claim of copyright infringement, so it’s wonderful to see the inspired new take on a classic ad. Well done!
Nick Andrew Rosalind Healy a great creative idea never leaves you…remember this well at initial script stage back in Covid 😉😱Love that it’s been brought to life on NitroSurge now & the playfulness & fun combined with an iconic Guinness track 👏🏻👏🏻
absolutely no frickin joy in these cans if they don't sell the spout thing. wasted a bunch of English pounds on 4 cans of flat Guinness, but we live and learn.
🫡 If I was on the fence this weekend about a Guinness... I'm now over it.
Quite possibly the best thing I have watched this month! Also, superior drink to anything else... No Arguments
Breathing new life into a classic ad..This is so good, well done to all involved at AMV BBDO and Guinness team collaborators. This insanely catchy tune will now live and lodge in my head once more !
Love this! Don't know why but I've given the can the persona of a woodpecker 😅 Great work!
Brilliant work—this is a clever way to connect Guinness’s iconic heritage with the tech-driven experience today's consumers crave. Cheers! 🍻
I love this! Made me giggle and possibly the most entertaining wait for it to settle 😂👏
