This year’s theme for #InternationalWomensDay is Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. The world is at a crossroads for gender equality. Standing up for women’s rights is more important than ever. One of the key challenges in achieving gender equality by 2030 is an alarming lack of financing, with a staggering USD 360 billion annual deficit in spending on gender-equality measures, according to UN Women.   Investing in women is a human rights imperative and cornerstone for building inclusive societies. Progress for women benefits us all.   The time for change is now! This International Women’s Day, let’s accelerate progress and #InvestInWomen.
