Imagine you walk into a restaurant for the first time. What will make you come back a SECOND time? Usually one or more of these reasons: 1. Great people - happy, smiling, positive, great service. 2. Outstanding products - fresh, tasty food, served well. 3. Realistic costs - costs that are appropriate to the experience, the food, the location. 4. The "feel" - the vibe, the environment. 5. Leaving with a sense that they "got" you - and you'd be happy to come back. Now replace the word RESTAURANT with FOOTBALL CLUB or TENNIS CLUB or SWIMMING CLUB. Do you have great people, outstanding products, realistic costs, a great environment and do you make people feel like they belong and want to come back? 🍔🦞 A New Era for Golf Course Dining: Fresh, Upscale Options on the Rise A recent study by ClubGrub analyzing 26,000 halfway-house orders across 87 golf courses reveals a surprising trend: hot dogs, a staple of golf culture, now make up less than 5% of all orders. Instead, golfers are opting for fresher, more upscale options like chicken sandwiches and lobster rolls. Spencer Potter, founder of ClubGrub, shares, "The hot dog will always be a nostalgic part of golf culture, but it’s outdated and doesn’t reflect modern hospitality."
