And with 140 crore people, #india does not even have 1 decent, complete and usable #cycling network. Unfortunate. Why? Because the false promises of #automobile lobby has convinced successive governments that perpetual year-on-year growth in vehicle sales is freedom of movement and development. And to achieve this, the government spends substantial amount of money on road (read just road, not on footpaths and cycle paths) infrastructure and subsidies. Bingo! A vicious cycle of more capacity leading to even more congestion has been thus created. How do we break this cycle? Simply by creating more and more #activemobility infrastructure in our #cities and #towns. So start speaking to your lawmakers every single day on this, starting today! PC Mohan Rajeev Gowda - Thanks for supporting the legislation of the #ActiveMobilityBill. Please build a cross party consensus to legislate the Bill in the upcoming legislative session of the #Karnataka assembly. Tejasvi Surya - You are a young lawmaker. Surely we can count on your active support for the legislation of the #ActiveMobilityBill.

Just don’t call it a menage! Agnes owns a holiday property which caters to people who love all things equestrian. 🐎 Her guests have the use of a wing of her house for their stay and can choose from any of her horses to ride for the day. The rate even includes riding lessons for children under 12. She commissioned me to shoot a drone image capturing the house, riding arena and expanse of land beyond to show the lifestyle her guests can look forward to during their stay. 👀 Agnes seems a placid type but if there is one thing that gets her goat it is uninformed people trying to sound clever and calling the riding arena a “menage”. “It’s a riding arena, but if you have to show off, it’s called a manege. A MENAGE is something quite different and nothing to do with horses”. 🐴 If you avoid that particular faux pas, you’ll not only find a warm welcome awaiting you at her farm, but as Agnes is an accomplished baker, there'll be some warm bread too! Being at the right place at the right time!!

If you've ever dabbled in time-lapse photography, you know what an incredible amount of effort goes into making a very short video. From the prep work, to setup, shooting, and editing, you're often looking at a couple of hours for a few seconds worth of video. Well, Morten Rustad invests a bit more time than that: roughly 20,000 kms traveled, 200,000 photos on 20 terabytes of hard drives, and two years of time invested. The result is an incredible seven-minute video that puts Norway's beauty on full display. https://lnkd.in/gA3YRRV3
