🚲 Since 1909, the Giro d'Italia has established itself as one of the most prestigious cycling competitions in the world. Part of the Grand Tours, along with the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, the Giro represents the pinnacle of international cycling. Originally, the race started and ended in Milan, but in the last fifty years, the start and finish stages have varied every year, often crossing international countries. 📌 The 100th edition of 2017 holds the record of the longest route, with a total of 3,615.4 kilometers. 🚵♂️ This year, the competition started on May 4 and will end on May 26. The route extends for a total of 3,400.8 kilometers, crossing some of the most fascinating regions of Italy.
