Daily a Noble Thought - Sep 26 Reason for spoiling friendship with Society? War is not at all required now as people’s contemplating skills have risen. Any nation can live without fearing or antagonising other nations, by handing over the management of border security to the Security Council of the United Nations (UN). War can destroy all wealth of the society. War is a rough action, formed when the early generation of human beings, without thinking capabilities, were living like animals troubling other species. When we compare those generations with the current one, man’s thinking skills have grown manifold. Man’s intelligence level has grown to travel to even moon, and to even apply computer equipment to daily life. Even now, war occurs in the human society. It’s a grave mistake that even now the war destroys the people. Everybody can easily understand, ‘how many lives are harmed in war? How many are destroyed?’ ‘It’s high time now to streamline mankind’s life by constituting and managing the laws on economic rights, the social laws to prevent the strong from harming the weak.’ Presently how many religions are founded and functioning to make to realise the Almighty, educate the virtues, to protect the morality and culture? Then, where is the mistake if many lives are being harmed, killed and their properties are destroyed on war is continuing, even now. Is it not the cause, the irresponsibility in governance and lack of knowledge on Almighty? - Vethathiri Maharishi

“The predator can always tell who is without protection.” - Dr. Gabor Mate BEAUTIFUL DREAM OF ISRAEL HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE https://lnkd.in/gnieGD96 #stopthegenocide Historian Zach Foster - a former Zionist - says: "The more you study Palestinian history and Israeli history, the more pro-Palestinian you become. You can’t study the history of Zionism and not be horrified. It’s as simple as that. They don’t want you to understand the reality of the situation, which is that you have one of the most powerful states in the world, and one of the most powerless peoples in the world. The people with the power want you to think it’s complicated — that there are two equal sides here. There’s a long history of Palestinian nonviolent resistance. In almost every single case, the Israeli military resorts to disproportionate and indiscriminate violence in response." To understand the Israel-Palestine conflict, start with these two simple questions. Historian Zach Foster uncomplicates the long, tangled histories of Palestine, Israel and Zionism — and breaks down the biggest myths clouding the conversation. https://lnkd.in/g4QZpvzH

United Nations resolution 181 in 1948, sought to address the conflicting objectives and claims of two competing movements: Palestinian nationalism and Jewish nationalism in the form of Zionism. 🔻 Where are the liberals in Israel? 🔻 __________________________________________________ Zionism has twisted the defense narrative of nation-building into endless wars for the entire world. Not only has this highjacked the Jewish Faith but demonized Muslims and lied to Christians alike. It has pitted one nation against another, one family against another, each human being against themselves. In essence, its a war on our collective conscience - our humanity. Our history, present and future is being re-written by pariah governments, political sellouts and military-industrial complexes that have been building in plain sight for decades. Just imagine, your mind, your body and your family colonized by #propaganda, #technology, and #markets. ASK QUESTIONS! CHALLENGE THE NARRATIVE! #decolonizeYOURself

~ HORRIBLE IDEA TO WAR FOR PEACE ~ By Dr. Verda Tunaligil (MD, MPH, PhD) The notion of waging #war to achieve peace is not just paradoxical; it’s fundamentally flawed. History has shown us that #conflict breeds suffering, division, and lasting resentment. Each #bomb dropped and each life lost only deepens the wounds of #society, often leading to cycles of #violence rather than #resolution. In the pursuit of #peace, we must recognize that #dialogue, understanding, and #empathy are far more #powerful tools than #weapons. True peace is built on trust and cooperation, not destruction. Instead of glorifying war as a means to an #end, we must #confront this #dangerous idea and #advocate for #solutions that prioritize #human #dignity and shared #humanity. The time for #change is #now. Let’s reject the notion that war can ever lead to peace and #commit ourselves to a path of #reconciliation and #understanding. Yesim Yasin

I am glad to be able to announce our forthcoming Routledge book on war and peace in Ukraine, titled "Marian Reflections on War and Peace: Trauma, Mourning and Justice in Ukraine and Beyond." This book presents an original Marian approach towards war and peace, dedicated to the suffering of children, women and men in Mariupol and elsewhere in Ukraine and in the world. Offering new theological perspectives on the contemporary impact of war, suffering and trauma, the contributions take inspiration from the figure and symbol of Mary – as protector of children and guardian of peace, intermediary of the incarnation, as well as model for ecumenical, interreligious, and intercultural engagements.

In his latest op-ed for Maariv, Nachman Shai, Ph.D., Dean of the HUC-JIR Taube Family Campus in Jerusalem, reflects on the parallels between October 7, 2023, and the Yom Kippur War of 1973, emphasizing how arrogance has repeatedly led to disaster. He warns that the tendency to view enemies with conceit is a grave mistake and urges for humility and self-reflection. With resilience, faith, and Israel’s core values, Dean Shai says, the nation will overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gYtgzuHf

The Palestinian issue is a long and complex conflict between Palestinians and Israelis over land and rights. Zionists claim that "Eretz Israel" is their historical right, asserting their connection to the land for thousands of years, despite historical facts showing that Palestinians have lived on the land for millennia before the establishment of the occupying state. Zionist myths promote the idea that Palestinians are newcomers or lack a history and culture tied to the land, which contradicts the cultural and historical reality of the Palestinians. These myths are used to justify the occupation and the displacement of the Palestinian people, ignoring their rights to self-determination and peaceful existence. https://lnkd.in/dUP4hTUW

The best path to peace is represented by the ideals of the Abraham Accords – that shared economic and commercial endeavours build trust between peoples; that co-existence is preferable to conflict; and that shared cultural experiences facilitate understanding between previously warring states. These precepts will not bring peace in themselves, but they can lay the foundations for it in the future. https://lnkd.in/e-jNW-AP

"Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph." - Haile Selassie #stopthegenocide Historian Zach Foster - a former Zionist - says: "The more you study Palestinian history and Israeli history, the more pro-Palestinian you become. Quotable Quotes, 07/04/2024, On, PEACE & PROSPERITY, The absence of conflict is a mirage and the only way to handle conflict is by getting the better of it. What are the sources of conflict – hatred, enviousness, resentment, and abhorrence – by exposing the pretensions of the tyrants a whopping lot can be achieved and it would be the solemn duty of the respective citizenries/stakeholders to award and reward the brave who strived to uphold human freedom by saying no to the acts of the villains – the tyrants – and by recognizing such valiant acts of bravery, the respective citizenries/stakeholders would be endorsing the greatest of the great achievements in the histories of freedom and bravery. Such great achievements will pave the way for peace to be firmly established and as a corollary, prosperity will simply reign …, given that peace and prosperity are akin to the face and the obverse of a coin. A simple, yet profound message. ©kishorevaangal Most Humbly, Reverentially, Respectfully & Responsibly Submitted ET AL Dr. Kishore Vaangal, Ph.D. the.supreme.power.of.now@gmail.com
