Starting up a non-profit that aims to bring social change to long entrenched, intersecting systems, is hard. But a strategic video campaign makes it a little easier 😉 Together With Families is transforming the child welfare system by centering lived experience and #justhelping rather than judging. For this video, (1 of 5) we wanted to tell the founding story of TWF in an aspirational, rather than informational way. To focus on the emotions that inspired the org's founding, and where it is going, vs getting bogged down in the operational details. Rather than have one video try (and fail) to carry the burden of telling their entire complex story, we built each story piece by piece to hit all the important messaging while making audience targeting much more straightforward. And like I always say on here: one message per marketing asset. The more "things" you push into a video, the less effective it becomes. That's the value of a well put together video campaign.
