QUESTIONS WITH ANCAP: How many cars need to be destroyed to determine just one ANCAP safety rating? A minimum of four cars are completely destroyed for each star rating we produce. In addition, we also need spare parts such as seats, headrests, bonnets, bumpers, windscreens etc. to undertake all the crash tests and active safety tests.
