Callum Brewer travelled to the medieval town of Fordingbridge today at the invitation of Corstorphine & Wright. He delivered his Noise and Planning CPD to the team covering the complex landscape of noise related legislation, policies and planning guidance (national, regional and local) and our 8-step approach to noise assessments. Providing examples of how to adopt good acoustic design on new noise-sensitive and noise-generating developments, the team discussed the impact of acoustic screens and treatments to balconies. We hope you found it useful and thank you for hosting us! #CPD #Noise #NoiseAssessments #NoiseMitigation #PlanningApplication #PlanningPermission #AcousticDesign #AcousticTreatments

One cannot see exactly the streetlights installed in Swanage, Devon in this article, but it's quite obvious that white LED lights (2700 K+) and especially 4000 K+ are not much liked by the general populace in almost any country except of course the municipal authorities and utility/lighting companies who are all for them. And shielding is also very important. https://lnkd.in/d-FdGVE7
