Anderson Acoustics’ Post

Great to see planning approval now secured for this major mixed-use development in Greenwich. Our Air Quality and Building Acoustics teams have been 'on board' Boord Street for the past 10 months commissioned by Fairview New Homes. We undertook planning stage air quality and dust risk assessments. We will also be conducting a programme of sound insulation testing to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of Approved Document E 2003 (ADE) of the Building Regulations 2010. Really looking forward to see the complete build. #MixedDevelopment #NewBuild #PropertyDeveloper #AirQualityAssessment #DustRiskAssessment #PlanningApplication #PlanningApproval #SoundInsulationTesting #BuildingRegulations #Compliance

Delighted to share that our Boord Street project has recently received planning approval. This community of sustainable new homes at the heart of Greenwich Peninsula marks a point of transition between our masterplan to the east where an emerging piece of city is taking shape, and to the western edge of the peninsula with its active wharf. The trio of residential buildings with interlocking forms step down from 26 storeys along Millenium Way, to 21 and 9 storeys towards the wharf; each step representing an increasing informality. March Square, a new south-facing public space at the corner of Marsh Walk and Boord Street, provides an entrance court for a nursery and leads to a light-filled residents garden at the centre of this family of buildings. New and repaired streets will knit the site into the wider fabric of the peninsula, with key routes along the future Millenium Way, a lively, tree-lined boulevard and River Way, an important east-west route. The wider project features student housing and self-storage and was a collaboration with aca studios and Threesixty Architecture Ltd.
