André Louis Nauer’s Post

On the occasion of International Women's Day, I would like to take this opportunity to address a topic that is close to my heart and to all of us at ISS Schweiz: the promotion of gender equality and the support of female talent.   Currently, 34 percent of our executives are female (with an upward trend), and we take pride in our dedicated efforts to nurture female high potentials. Similarly, we place great importance on increasing the proportion of women in STEM professions. Business Analyst Rebecca Atoline serves as a great role model in this regard. However, despite our endeavours, we face challenges that extend far beyond our company boundaries.   In Switzerland, there is a notable shortage of skilled workers, a situation largely influenced by the barriers individuals face upon becoming parents. These barriers can impede their ability to return to work or advance in their careers. Factors such as poorly coordinated school schedules and a lack of lunchtime options significantly impact parents' daily lives.   At ISS Switzerland, we advocate for societal changes as well. We firmly believe that an inclusive and supportive work environment is crucial for partners to unleash their full professional potential.   On this International Women's Day, I urge everyone to work together to dismantle the barriers that women face in the workplace. Only through collective efforts can we create a future where gender equality is not just a dream but a reality.   #InternationalWomensDay #GenderEquality #WomenInBusiness #ISSSwitzerland

Great post Andre and I know it’s a topic you take seriously. Like many organizations, a hard one to crack, particularly in the war for talent. Thanks for your leadership in this space.
