The Long Beach Health Department announced last month that a substantial grant from the state's Office of Traffic Safety was awarded to promote biker and pedestrian traffic safety. The grant funds will be leveraged throughout 2025 for initiatives like: ✔️ Pop-up safety events at busy street intersections to hand out reflective gear to cyclists ✔️ Safety rodeos to provide hands-on learning experiences on bike safety tips ✔️ Interactive community activities ...and more!
