#Valenciaport participated in the 2024 #Logitrans fair in #Turkey to showcase its capacity and services to Turkish logistics companies and #international shipping lines. The delegation, led by Cristina Rodríguez, has held meetings with local and international companies to highlight the competitive advantages of the Valencian ports. Valenciaport's strategic location between the Suez Canal and the Strait of Gibraltar makes it a key #hub for #maritime trade between #Asia, #Europe, and #America. By October 2024, commercial traffic between Valenciaport and Turkey has increased by 25.54%, reaching 3.79 million tons. Valenciaport is connected to 35 Turkish ports through 43 regular shipping lines operated by around twenty shipping companies. Greece, a top ship- owning nation, operating 21% of global and 59% of European capacity, represents a multi-billion dollar opportunity for shipbuilders and for suppliers of marine equipment, information technology and the whole spectrum of marine services.
